I came across this recipe, can’t remember where so I apologize for not being able to give credit where credit is due
These bars freeze up great, cut them up and put them in the little 100 calorie snack size baggies. I have not analyzed the recipe for nutritional information but like any other snack, do over do it!
2 cups non fat yogurt or sour cream
1 cup almond butter or any nut butter
4 cups of large flake rolled oats
3 scoops of protein powder
1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
2 tsp stevia
mixed dry fruit, I used crasions and raisins.
*you could add 2 tbsp of cocoa for a chocolaty flavor
mix the yogurt and almond butter in a sauce pan and stir until liquidy
mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl, mix the wet with the dry and pat into a 9 x 13 pan, refrigerate until cool
This gets messy be prepared to use your hands to blend, a spoon just doesn’t catch it.
cut into 8 bars for 8 meals, or 16 for snacks. I usually cut them into 24 for snacks…. they are pretty big. Enjoy
