Yesterday was a rest day, today was Push Circuit 2, naturally heavier weights and a lot of “extreme” break downs, very exhilarating! There was a lot of lifting weight from the shoulders up and from the waist to the floor, one that I really loved was holding 12.5 lbs in each hand, leaning forward and raising one leg to form the letter t, great balance strength training. The circuit was about 35 minutes long, easy to handle and does not take a lot of my time away from other things. One of the great things about the work out is when I am finished I feel so great, I feel like I have done something great for me….and I feel like doing more.
Breakfast: oatmeal, berries, honey, cinnamon
Snack: 3/4 cup steamed edamame ( soy beans)
Lunch: whole wheat tortilla wrap with 3 oz grilled chicken breast, lettuce leaf, 1/3 black beans – drained, 1/4 cup frozen corn thawed, 1 tbsp bbq sauce 2 tbsp fat-free sour cream
Snack: post work out protein shake with 1/2 banana
Dinner: 3 oz prime rib, 1 1/2 large roasted carrots, 3 inch slice of steamed sweet potato.
lots of water, 2 power generation
