Are you ready to get Extreme baby? Today was burn circuit 3, and that is exactly what today was about 2 extreme challenges where you challenge your muscles to “failure” . I am so impressed with the amounts of weights that I can handle now compared to last week at this time. I am down almost 1% body fat and that is exactly what I want, burn the fat stores and build muscle. As women, it does not matter how much you work out you will not get the bulky muscles (without a little help) and I personally don’t want to be a huge muscular woman, what I do want is to be able to empty a bag of salt into our water softener without it over powering me 🙂 If you are wondering how I measured my body fat, I have a weight watchers scale, I entered my age, gender, height and fitness level and it does all the behind the scenes work. Is it correct, I have no idea but it gives me a starting point. The ChaLean Extreme program comes with a tool to measure body fat, I want to save it for my 30,60,90 and 120 day measure in.
Breakfast: 1 whole egg, 2 egg whites scrambled, sautéed zucchini, onion, and green peppers, and then egg and scramble, add a bit of light feta cheese and thyme
snack: Home made granola bar
Lunch: 1/2 a whole grain tortilla wrap with 2 oz sliced turkey breast, salsa, green pepper, grated light cheddar and 3 slices of garden fresh tomatoes
Snack: Protein shake with mango instead of banana
Dinner: 3 oz boneless, skinless natural chicken breast with capers, 1 1/2 inch slice of sweet potato steamed, mixed veggies steamed.
a not too late night snack could be 1/2 of a garden fresh tomato or 10 raw almonds and a pear, but don’t leave it too late if you have the almonds and pear
