There is one more solution, Melatonin, but be careful, if you are going to a health food store for them -read the label – if it says synthetic, don’t get it, you want a natural Melatonin.
Melatonin is produced in a tiny gland in the brain, when the sun starts to go down your body naturally produces melatonin. As we age we produce less which is why babies sleep so much because they produce so much melatonin. The older we get the less we produce, the less sleep we get.
I personally use Unicity brand Melatonin, it is 100% natural and 100% safe. I take 1 to 3 tablets per night, depending on how I feel before I go to bed, generally 1 is enough for me but I have taken as many as 4. Simple to take, about 1/2 hour before bed dissolve 1 tablet under the tongue and I am off to a restful nights sleep with no “hang over” in the morning.
